Cubicult

Cubicult is a top-down action puzzle game inspired by Gauntlet and similar games from the 70s and 80s, but with with a passive-aggressive twist: the only way you can dispatch your foes is by luring them into environmental hazards, like the OSHA-Noncompliant Package Stack or Unstable Wall Art.

Game developer Lex has landed their dream role at a AAA studio, but has become overwhelmed by their workload and turned to demon summoning to meet their impossible deadlines. When the ritual goes awry, Lex must escape the hell their workplace has become using their wit, dexterity, and whatever they can find in the office to outwit and evade demons, evil office supplies, and possessed coworkers.

This is 7bit Games’ first demo. We are a small group of students in the University of Washington’s Game Design program and are excited to share our work with you!
